Thupten Phelgye

 
Born in Tibet, Geshela received his Geshe degree at Sera-Je Monastery in India. He is a representative and parliament member of the Tibetan government-in-exile in Dharmasala, India. Geshe Phelgye has been tirelessly giving talks and teachings around the world advocating universal compassion, the ethical treatment of animals, and vegetarianism. Geshela is a very accomplished spiritual leader.
